I did say that I was in love, but I wasn't in a relationship. Mainly because either one of our circumstance doesn't allow us to be.
Now, someone said, I need to be loved / in love, but i don't want/need a relationship.
I'm trying to grasp this idea of being in love, but not in a relationship. So, is it just a feel good feeling sans the responsibility? For a couple of days I ponder on this statement, but I do not get a revelation of it. Fyi, we're talking about lovers, partners or couples; not friends or family.
How I finally get the idea is through compromising, because I do not want to lose the person. That way, I can still continue to love, but we're not in a relationship. If I held on to my "needs" believing only in having a relationship, then I may lose the person. But I'm feeling that either way, eventually, nothing will sustain.
Have you ever heard of this statement? Enlighten me.
